Abstract

Consumer satisfaction with the product will be formed when someone makes a purchase decision. Perceived satisfaction will provide benefits for the company continuously. This means that everything related to the product received by consumers at the time of purchase will determine the direction of the company's goals. This research was conducted at Aku Sikka's ole shop in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province from May to June 2021. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of product quality, price, location on purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction in purchasing ole-ole products at the Aku Sikka store. Data was collected by filling out questionnaires with a non-probability sampling technique using the accidental sampling method. The data were analyzed using structural equation modelling. The results of the PLS Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis to examine the effect of product quality, price, and location variables on purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction show that there is a positive and significant influence on product quality, price, and location variables on purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Red chilli (Capsicum annumm L.) is a commodity with high price fluctuations. Market participants use red chilli price fluctuations to manipulate price information and cause information asymmetry. So that, the price information is not transmitted properly and indicates the market is not integrated. This study aims to describe price developments and analyze the integration of the red chilli market in Malang Regency, Malang City, and Surabaya City. The analytical method used is descriptive statistics, Johansen cointegration, and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The results showed that the price of red chilli fluctuated. Red chilli price fluctuations occur because production is seasonal, causing the distribution of chillies to be uneven every month. Therefore, efforts are needed to regulate cropping patterns so that the supply of chilli is always available. The results of market integration show that all variables are cointegrated in the long run and not integrated into the short run. This indicates that price information is transmitted imperfectly. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the information system so that all market participants can access market information.

Abstract

Marketing using digital products is one way to do marketing through social media that uses the internet. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest of tape makers in the use of digital products and the factors that influence them. The sampling method used the survey method and obtained 45 respondents of tape makers on the scale of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Banjarsari Village, Ngajum District, Malang Regency. The descriptive analysis method is used to analyze the interest of tape makers in the use of digital products. While Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis is used to analyze the factors that influence the interest of tape makers in digital products. The results showed that tape makers have an interest in digital products in marketing tape. However, tape makers are not interested in applying or using digital information products in marketing tape. This is due to several factors that influence significantly, including advances in information technology, the ability of tape makers, environment, competition, and capital.

Abstract

Organic farming is more profitable because of the increasing demand and high product prices. However, it is not easy for farmers to decide on rice farming organically. Farmers faced obstacles such as limited capital, lack of knowledge about organic technology, and no price guarantee for organic farmers who have not been certified organic. It is necessary to develop some policies such as institutions. A partnership is one of the institution's solutions for farmers to increase their willingness to join organic rice farming. This research was conducted in Ngawi Regency, East Java, from March 2020. Ngawi Organic Center Community (KNOC) is a partner institution with experience in pioneering and fostering organic farmers. The research aims to analyze (1) the factors that influence organic rice farmers for decision-making partnership; (2, the mechanism of organic rice partnership; and (3) the benefits farmers get from the partnership. Logistic Regression used to analyze the factors that influence the farmers' decisions. Descriptive analysis is used to investigate the mechanism of organic rice partnership between organic rice farmers and KNOC. The descriptive analysis also describes the benefits of partnerships received by farmers. The study results show that farming experience, land area and frequency of extension significantly affect farmers' decision making. The organic rice partnership mechanism regulated in a written contract, with the Agribusiness Operational Cooperation partnership pattern. The high price of organic rice is the most profitable partnership benefit for farmers (81,67%).

Abstract

Rice production is still the primary source of livelihood for rural communities in Tambakdahan Sub-district, Subang Regency. One harvest of every hectare can produce an average rice production of 8.5 to 9 tons. This study aims to determine the effect of land area ownership, use of labor, use of seeds, fertilizers, and technical irrigation (irrigation) on rice production and the Scale of business results, using the Cobb Douglas production function equation. The results of this study indicate that the three input variables have significant influence, namely; ownership of land area, fertilizers used, and technical irrigation (irrigation) on rice production, for the use of seed input, and technical irrigation (irrigation) have a positive effect, while the input of land area ownership has a negative impact. Two input variables do not have a significant effect, namely the input use of labor and seeds. The Scale of the results of the rice production business shows a decreasing scale of business results

Abstract

This study aims to predict the factors that drive the emergence of intentions to reduce food waste with a planned behavior theory approach. The study was carried out in Malang, East Java. The information was gathered through social media using a survey method with convenience sampling. The study employs fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (FsQCA).The research findings indicate four conditions in the subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and feeling of guilt variables which are the core conditions needed to form an intention to reduce food waste. In addition, three of the four states were closely related to the general perception of caring and showed a tendency towards interpersonal and human-environmental awareness. Therefore, the recommended recommendation is a campaign movement that emphasizes community participation by adopting ideal food-management values that are simultaneous and supported by stimulation through public communication related to the minimization of food waste.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of compensation on motivation and employee performance in the MSMEs production of sanan tempeh chips. This research is a type of explanatory research. The research method quantitatively uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with the Warp Partial Least Square (WarpPLS) approach. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews using questionnaires, and field observations while secondary data were obtained through literature studies from various related sources. Selected 60 samples with simple random sampling technique as respondents in this study. The results showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on motivation. Compensation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Then motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

A review of the literature reveals that most previous studies only used achievement motivation theory to assess the work motivation of agricultural extension workers in Indonesia. So far, no research questionnaire has been designed using expectancy theory. The purpose of this study is to develop a work motivation questionnaire based on expectancy theory and to test the convergent validity, discriminant validity, construct reliability and composite reliability of this questionnaire. This study drew on data from 107 people who work as agricultural extension workers in Indonesia. The questionnaire distributed via google forms was completed by all respondents. All statistical analyses were performed using JASP, version 0.16, and a confirmatory factor analysis technique was used. This study resulted in the development of a work motivation questionnaire in Indonesian. There are nine-item questions, each with three questions for construct expectancy, three questions for constructs instrumentality, and three questions for constructs valence. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed that all of the question items from the expectancy theory three constructs met the convergent validity, discriminant validity, construct reliability, and composite reliability criteria. This questionnaire can be used in future research on agricultural extension workers' work motivation in Indonesia.
